How does love finds us?

Do our souls 

Call out to one another

To be found?

Do they trace their way

Through time

Looking for the missing piece

That completes the puzzle

The heart is grand place

With room enough for all

Everyone we have ever loved

Who has come, stayed, and gone

But when you find that ‘one’

I think perhaps

They fill up the room entirely

And your heart is full 

Beyond capacity

Because now you can feel it 

Fit to burst 

Every heartbeat

Is a reminder that there is another 

Whose heart beats 

In the same rhythm as our own

And that feeling

Is the grandest of all
