Drowning

The want is like being underwater and trying to breathe at the same time.  And instead of reaching for the surface, diving deeper.  Leaning forward she places her lips on his.  Breathing deeply, almost gasping, as he pulls all the air from her lungs.  Without it, she suddenly becomes delicate and fragile.  He finds her gently, slowly, until they move and breathe together as one.  She sighs as this precious air escapes her open mouth in a kiss.  His last breath catches in her throat, she draws him down into the depths with her.  He drowns as she becomes breathless.
